Cancer patients in Syria face a complex and devastating reality that extends beyond physical pain to severe financial and psychological hardship. Years of conflict, the collapse of the healthcare system, and soaring treatment costs have made access to cancer care nearly impossible for many families. Countless patients have been forced to delay or stop treatment due to lack of financial means, placing their lives at serious risk.
In response to this urgent humanitarian need, Saed Relief and Development implemented a financial assistance project for cancer patients in several affected areas across Syria. The support aimed to help patients cover the costs of medical treatment, medications, transportation to healthcare facilities, and essential living expenses.
This assistance had a profound impact on beneficiaries’ lives. For many patients, it restored hope at a time when continuing treatment seemed impossible. The financial support eased anxiety, allowed patients to pursue lifesaving care, and helped families cope with the overwhelming burden of illness.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors whose generosity made this initiative possible. Your support was not merely financial—it was a gift of hope and dignity to patients fighting cancer under extremely difficult circumstances. As needs continue to grow, we kindly encourage you to maintain your support and share this report with your family and friends, helping us reach more cancer patients in need across Syria.
