We continue with our School for Feminist Popular and Political Education of 2023-2024. This year's edition is in partnership with the University Andina Simon Bolivar in Quito.
With the donations we have received, we have been able to support over 40 women from popular sectors who are part of our educational process.
This year's goal is for the compañeras to become researchers. They have formed small groups (between 3 and 4) and have selected a research topic that is of interest to them all. At the school, they are learning about research methodologies and techniques in order to begin their research processes.
One of the highlights of the first module has been connecting research ideas with concepts that we previously defined and learned together. Questioning racism and patriarchy has been key in all research groups since both concepts have been recognized as structuring for the hardships of women from popular sectors.
We are very excited about the reflections that are to come.
To all our donors, thank you for supporting our process and trusting our organization!
