In the past three months, The Last Dream of a Child with Cancer has been a living testimony of love, compassion, and resilience. Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to make dreams come true, bring urgent medicines to the children who needed them the most, and accompany families through moments of deep pain and hope.
Achievements in the Last 3 Months
A Farewell Filled with Love – Andrés
With broken hearts, we said goodbye to Andrés. His passing reminded us of the fragility of life and the urgency of our mission. Thanks to your help, we were able to support his family and give him a farewell filled with dignity, tenderness, and love.
Medicines for Relief
Three children battling painful side effects of cancer treatments received the medicines they urgently needed. These simple but powerful gestures brought relief to their bodies and lightened the emotional and financial burden of their families.
Hope for Roger
Roger, a brave young patient who relapsed with cancer, urgently needed a special medication. We traveled to deliver it directly to him, ensuring his treatment could continue. For his family, this act meant peace, hope, and the certainty that they are not alone.
Community Support and Fundraising
Through a heartfelt garage sale, we raised funds to finance more dreams and prepare upcoming activities. Each donated item and each purchase was transformed into hope for our children.
Back-to-School Support
At the start of the school year, we delivered school supplies and gifts to young patients and survivors. These small but meaningful details reminded them that their dreams and education matter.
Preparations for Christmas
We are now preparing for the great Christmas celebration, where 150 children with cancer and survivors will enjoy a day filled with joy, gifts, and unforgettable memories.
Impact
90 children and families directly supported in this period.
3 children received medicines to ease treatment side effects.
1 child, Roger, received urgent medication after a relapse.
1 farewell with dignity made possible for Andrés and his family.
20 new volunteers joined our cause, proving that hope is contagious.
Testimony
Roger’s mother shared with tears in her eyes:
“We didn’t know how we were going to get the medicine my son needed so urgently. When Sembrando Esperanzas brought it to our home, it felt like a miracle. You gave us hope when we were running out of strength.”
Looking Ahead
In the next three months, our focus will be on:
Celebrating Christmas with 150 children and survivors.
Continuing to fulfill individual dreams.
Providing urgent medical support to children in treatment.
Expanding alliances with local and international donors to multiply impact.
Gratitude
Every medicine delivered, every farewell supported with dignity, every school supply, and every dream fulfilled is possible because of you.
You are the reason why, even in the hardest moments, children and families can still believe in miracles.
