In one of the informal camps in the rural areas of Jarablus, northern Syria, lives the orphaned child Wissam with his mother and younger sister Fatima, enduring extremely harsh humanitarian conditions. Wissam lost his father during the war, and his mother has since become the sole provider for the family, despite the lack of resources and the difficulty of life in a tent lacking even the most basic necessities.
As part of the ongoing efforts of Umut Uluslararas Hayr Dernegi to support orphans and affected families, a financial sponsorship was distributed this month to Wissam’s family—thanks to your generous donations. This support has helped them secure essential needs such as food, clothing, and basic supplies for the children, significantly easing their daily suffering.
This sponsorship was more than just financial assistance—it was a lifeline of hope for a family worn down by poverty and displacement, and a message of compassion that they are not forgotten.
