A Happy Graduation Day for WOW 6

By Tim Flynn | AMV Coordinator

After being on the programme for 6 months the WOW 6 team were ready for Graduation. The past two graduations had taken place at Kitale Museum but we decided this time we would have the celebration at our own compound, Edwina Gateley House. We had visitors from Ireland, Emer and Agnes and from the Jesuit Development Office in Nairobi, Fr Allan, Damaris and Collins. We had new tents, he weather was lovely and the atmosphere was great. For the first time we also decided to have Graduation Gowns. A huge thanks to Cecilia and Eilis who almost did an allnighter to make sure they were ready. The day was a great success as can be seen from the attached photos. Thanks as always to our friends and supporters on the GlobalGiving platform who have contributed to making a difference in these young people's lives.
