"I am deeply grateful to the program for the attention and support received; they are my support to carry out my life project and to realize the value I have as a woman. Thanks to PAN, I was able to return to a safe place, so I will put all my effort into moving my daughters forward".

Ana Gabriela

Ana Gabriela's story and her family's are just one among the 44 Venezuelan migrant families actively participating in our program, 'Echando Bolas.' Among these families, there are 193 individuals, including adults, teenagers, and children, all sharing their dreams and hopes on a path filled with challenges.

Our goal is to provide each of them a ray of light amidst adversity, to facilitate their adaptation process in our country, and to ensure that every child and adolescent feels protected and has access to their most basic rights, enabling them to build a dignified and promising future.

On the journey towards regularization, every step is a battle won, every document a triumph that brings us closer to the stability and security we long for. Currently, there are 59 children and adolescents born in Venezuela in the process of regularization in Colombia, while the remaining 33 are children of Venezuelan parents born in Colombia.

Every child and adolescent who gains access to the healthcare system is a victory, a demonstration that together we can overcome any obstacle. At the beginning of the process, 78 children and adolescents and 77 adults were not affiliated with the healthcare system. Currently, 66 children and adolescents and 62 adults are affiliated, while the rest are in the process.

And in the educational realm, every child and adolescent who returns to school is a seed of hope, a promise of a better tomorrow. At the start of the process, there were 28 children and adolescents who were not enrolled in school. Today, all of them have their right to education guaranteed, except for 3 who are waiting for spots in educational institutions near their homes.

Each of the 25 adults who have found employment thanks to the support and accompaniment of the program is an example of perseverance and courage, proof that with effort, dedication, and trust and support from the program, we can build a more prosperous future for everyone.

Between January and March, we have witnessed stories of pain and obstacles, but also of love and resilience. We have provided unconditional support to each family, listening to their concerns, sharing their joys, and helping them find solutions to their problems.

We have conducted 187 consultations related to family crises, parenting guidelines, authority management, individual and family life projects development, rights guarantee assistance routes, and strengthening of affective, economic, and social bonds. We have also provided 42 consultations on regularization issues, writs of protection for rights guarantee, and citizenship procedures.

We know that together, we can make a difference, we can change lives, and we can build a fairer and more humane world for everyone.
