"Shining Stars of Care: A-Chun's 22 Years of Dedication"
#TemporaryCareProvider A-Chun(pseudonym) has devoted 22 years to temporary and short-term care services. This year, her dedication was recognized with the Outstanding Caregiver Award .
A-Chun shared a touching story from her service journey: Among her many cases was Xiao Lun, an individual with severe disabilities. Xiao Lun is blind, has limited cognitive abilities, and cannot engage in everyday conversations. Yet, whenever Xiao Lun hears A-Chun’s voice, his face lights up with a radiant smile .
It is caregivers like A-Chun, with their boundless compassion and extraordinary patience, who bring warmth to those in need. Their selfless service alleviates the burdens faced by families of individuals with disabilities and ensures the quality of life is maintained . To us, they are the brightest stars in the sky !
The Hi Special Needs Foundation provides temporary and short-term care services for individuals with disabilities. These services offer respite for family caregivers and assistance during emergencies, helping to reduce long-term caregiving stress and improve overall family quality of life .
