“Okay, time to check your blood pressure—just relax!” To closely monitor the health of individuals with intellectual disabilities, we measure their blood pressure before and after every exercise session. Though the process may seem repetitive, it plays a crucial role in safeguarding their well-being.
For people with intellectual disabilities, aging-related issues such as rapid physical decline and the risk of dementia often begin around age 35. That’s why the support of family members and caregivers becomes especially vital.
Every day spent together is a precious moment. We are deeply grateful to walk alongside them on this life journey, treasuring the quiet yet powerful bond we share.
