Every year, the annual end-of-year banquet is the day our members look forward to most — not just to mark the year's efforts, but to step into the spotlight, to perform, to be seen.
Months before the event, members across our stores and sheltered workshops begin discussing performance ideas and practicing in earnest. Every sheltered worker puts in their full effort for this one moment.
What moves observers most is not the performances themselves, but the sight of educators and social workers facing the stage with complete attention — watching every turn, every step.
After the performances, foundation co-founder Mr. Su and chairperson Ms. Hsiao addressed everyone in the room. In the light of the banquet hall, the trust and love accumulated over years was, for a moment, completely visible.
