Pakistan faces severe humanitarian challenges in 2025 due to floods followed by harsh winters, deeply affecting vulnerable communities, especially orphaned children. Displacement, damaged infrastructure, food insecurity, and cold exposure have heightened risks for orphans. The project aims to support 1,000 orphaned children by providing Eid gift packages that restore dignity, inclusion, and emotional well-being during a critical time of recovery.
Pakistan is facing severe humanitarian challenges in 2025 due to widespread floods followed by harsh winter conditions. These disasters have displaced thousands of families, damaged homes and livelihoods, and disrupted access to food, healthcare, and education. Orphaned children are among the most affected, facing increased vulnerability, emotional distress, inadequate shelter, and limited support systems during recovery and festive occasions like Eid.
The project will address this problem by providing Eid gift packages to 1,000 orphaned children who have been affected by floods and harsh winter conditions. These gifts will meet basic needs such as clothing and essentials while offering emotional support and a sense of inclusion during Eid. By restoring dignity, joy, and community connection, the project will help reduce psychosocial distress and support the well-being of vulnerable children during recovery.
In the long term, the project will contribute to improved emotional well-being of orphaned children by reinforcing feelings of care, dignity, and social inclusion during a critical period.
