During this reporting period, no new donations were received specifically under the project titled “Supporting Malaria Emergency Response in Ethiopia.” Despite this funding gap, MHO has continued to implement its broader humanitarian and development programs with strong commitment, ensuring that ongoing interventions supporting highly vulnerable women and children were not interrupted. Through careful resource optimization and integration across projects, we have maintained essential service delivery in alignment with our mission.
Thanks to the continued generosity of GlobalGiving, individual donors, corporate partners, and other compassionate supporters, MHO has been able to sustain lifesaving and emergency assistance activities for the communities we serve. Your support has remained the backbone of our work, enabling us to respond to urgent needs even in the absence of new project-specific contributions during this period. We deeply acknowledge that every achievement recorded by MHO is rooted in your solidarity and shared vision of protecting human dignity.
During this period, our teams focused on ensuring continuity of essential support services, including outreach to vulnerable households and coordination with local structures to identify and prioritize the most at-risk women and children. One example includes a mother-led household in a high-risk area who, through MHO’s continued support, was able to access critical basic assistance that helped stabilize her family’s immediate living conditions and reduce vulnerability during a difficult time.
Moving forward, MHO remains committed to strengthening malaria emergency preparedness and response activities while sustaining integrated support for vulnerable groups. We sincerely appreciate your continued trust and partnership, which not only enables our work but also restores hope and resilience within the communities we serve.
