Supporting women entrepreneurs in Buenos Aires Arg

Happy 2025! We’re already well into our work for this year, but we wanted to take a moment to share and celebrate the achievements of Nuestras Huellas and our community in 2024. We thank you for contributing to our projects last year — so much of this work is made possible thanks to you. 

We carried out 10 different trainings, serving 409 participants, across these different groups: 

• A workshop for 70 young adults in a high school in a vulnerability community 
• A workshop on overcoming barriers and limiting beliefs for 5 women entrepreneurs
• A personal finance workshop for 28 incarcerated people
• A training for 35 people in the Vivienda Digna community 
• A financial literacy training for 25 participants in the Buenos Aires government’s Center for Social Integration
• A training on resilient lives and businesses amid climate change with the Grameen Foundation for 125 participants, both virtual and in-person
• A diagnostic exercise in rural Chaco for 67 community members
• A financial education training for 15 members of the Mugica neighborhood 
• A virtual training on family finances for 15 participants
• A financial training for 24 members of the Nuestras Huellas community

Our microfinance program served 485 participants, with a collective savings of US$69,000 and US$93,620 in microloans.

Entrepreneur spotlight: Julia Gonzalez

Julia Gonzalez is a member of community bank “Seeds of Progress.” She leads her own business selling artisan goods and has been a part of our community for 16 years.
