The children are doing outstanding. They have learned to adjust to their new life, they participated in the Mali's "A Tree for Each Malian for the 50th Anniversary of the Independence". That's right, each of ACFA-Mali's children actually planted a tree for their country. Children who were on street only a few months ago begging for spare change to get something to eat, have already started contributing to their countries development, and are learning the virtues of good citizenship. Additionally the children enjoyed the visit during this reporting period of volunteers from the city of Richmond, VA. They have also been registered to Taekwondo classes. Enjoyed some of pictures that were taken during their field trip to the Zoo.
