It’s been a year since our orphanage in Bamako, ACFA-Mali, opened its doors to Mali orphans and vulnerable children. There is a lot to report on! The children have had a great year indeed! Their lives changed 180 degrees: they now have a home, a mother and father figure, sisters and brothers, friends, etc… They’ve completed a whole academic year and have performed well, taken and mastered basketball and taekwondo classes. On the citizenship side, they have each planted a tree to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Mali’s independence. Please check out our 2010 Annual Report for more information on our accomplishment.
