Dear Friend!
This report expresses our deepest gratitude for your generous donations to our Life Quality charity work in Ukraine.
Today isJuly19, 2023 - Day 511of the war in Ukraine – how naïve we were, thinking it would end soon. Unfortunately, pride, evil thoughts, and longing for power push people to dosuch atrocities as we see here. Last night, our beautiful city of Odesa was attacked with drones and rockets, which brought even more destruction to our land, not even to mention constant war activities near Donbas, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
All of the above means that the number of IDPs did not decrease because people still have to leave dangerous places to save their lives.
After the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka Dam, many Ukrainians from the Kherson region had to be evacuated because of the destruction of their homes and ecological catastrophe, which made them IDPs.
IDPs… Internally Displaced People – those who have been forced to flee their homes, their village, town, city, or region to save their own lives and the lives of their families. Moving to another place is never easy, but running for life is even worse because you take only the essential things and run.
This leaves many IDPs without access to their belongings and their livelihoods.
Many of them are struggling to make ends meet. Most have lost their jobs, and they often live in overcrowded conditions.
Since the start of the conflict, Life Quality Fund has been working a lot to provide essentials to those in need.
Your donations have enabled us to purchase food for one of the shelters in the Zakarpattia region, now a temporary home for about 70 people. We brought noodles, canned meat, and vegetables to them.
We were also able to assemble food packages for some IDPs in Uzhhorod.
This would not be possible at all without your support. Your donations have made a real difference in the life of these particular people.
Thank you again for your generosity and your support of Ukraine. Thank you for standing with us, and may your kindness be rewarded!
THANK YOU!
