Project Report | Nov 15, 2023
Helping War-Torn Ukraine and its People

By Oleksandr Lomaka | Project Leader

Aid received!
Aid received!

Dear Friend!

This report expresses our deepest gratitude for your generous donations to our Life Quality charity work in Ukraine.

Today is November 15, 2023 - Day 630 of the war in Ukraine – yes, sadly, the war continues… Even now, when I am writing this report, I hear the sound of the air raid alert – again, there is danger of a rocket attack throughout the whole territory of Ukraine…

Oh well, back to the good news!

Life Quality Fund and many other great NGOs, funds, and individuals continue to help Ukrainians suffering from the war. The number of IDPs has grown since the shelling, and military actions don’t stop. People still flee the danger zones to save their lives and look for safer places, abandoning their homes.

What does the life of an internally displaced person look like when they just arrive in a new region or location? They try to find a temporary place to live. Some flee empty-handed, and some can grab a suitcase of the essentials if possible. However, most of the time, it means that IDPs need everything – from some personal hygiene supplies to things like blankets, pillows, bedding, etc. And it usually happens that the available aid means second-hand things.

Yes, when you don’t own anything, you will be grateful for a decent-looking towel that someone used, washed, and kindly gave away. However, for an IDP, it is always a great thing to get something new and nice – something nobody used. It brightens the hard life of a refugee a little.

That is one of the reasons why webought and distributed new sets of bed linen for the IDPs who live in the Zakarpattia region.

It was only possible because of your generous hearts.

Yes, we will continue to provide food and hygiene supplies to the refugees, but we do not want to forget about other aspects of life.

Your financial donations have made a real difference in the lives of the people you see in the pictures.

Thank you again for your generosity and your support of Ukraine. Thank you for standing with us, and may your kindness be rewarded!

THANK YOU!
