Dear Friend!
This report expresses our deepest gratitude for your generous donations to our Life Quality charity work in Ukraine.
Today is March 13, 2024 – Day 749 of the war in Ukraine – yes, 2 years already and continuing…
Yesterday russian rockets hit 2 residential buildings in Kryvyi Rih, killing and wounding civilians. Then, there were explosions in the Sumyand the Mynorhrad – bringing destruction, pain, and despair. And things like this happen every day. This is not to touch the pity button but to bring more understanding.
People continue to flee the danger zones to save their children and their own lives. Many older people also have to run from their homes, where they have spent most of their lives. It is especially hard on those people who have serious medical issues – like disabilities. Many of them need medicine regularly and personal hygiene things such as diapers.
But because of your continual generosity and donations, we were able to help several internally displaced families from the Donetsk region who now live in the Khust area of the Zakarpattia region.
Some people needed expensive medication, such as anticancer treatment and medicine to lower blood pressure and glucose levels. Some families needed a heater. Some people needed pillows and an electric kettle. One gentleman needed a wheelchair to move around.
Most of these people live in so-called social housing—like a dormitory—which, of course, is nothing like home. Some also try to find affordable rent, which is not easy. Many of them are barely making ends meet, which means they can't afford proper medication or treatment.
One man cried when he found out that we had brought all the medication from his list!
So, we were glad and honored to be able to improve the quality of life for these several families - at least a little.
Of course, we want to share the deepest gratitude from these dear men and women who realize that there are precious hearts who think about them and give to help.
Thank you again for your generosity and your support of Ukraine. Thank you for standing with us, and may your kindness be rewarded!
THANK YOU!
