Project: Sustainability for AHCM Giving Tuesday Project
Reporting Period: March 2026-----Executive Summary
This report summarizes the progress and impact of the sustainable livelihood initiatives so far, focusing on the revenue generation from the goat and piggery project. The sales generated from these efforts have been instrumental in securing essential operational funds, covering administrative costs, and addressing the specific needs of children within the home. The project continues to be a vital component of AHCM's long-term sustainability strategy. Key Achievements in March 2026
The core sustainability project, specifically the goat and piggery initiatives, has yielded positive results during the reporting period:
Livelihood Revenue Generation: We successfully generated a number of sales from our livestock, including both goats and pigs, generating crucial internal funds.
Operational Support: The funds fetched from these sales were directly applied to essential operational areas, ensuring the continuous and smooth running of the children's home.
Impact and Financial Utilization
The revenue generated from the livestock sales has been strategically allocated to support three main areas of need:
Administrative Operations: A portion of the funds covered administrative expenses, ensuring the necessary organizational and logistical functions of AHCM could be maintained.
Child Welfare and Needs: Critical support was provided to meet the specific needs of children in our care, directly improving their living conditions and well-being.
Essential Provision: The remaining funds were used for the provision of other necessary essentials required to run the children's home on a day-to-day basis.
Conclusion and Gratitude
We are always grateful for the foundational support provided for the goat and piggery project. The success of these initiatives demonstrates their effectiveness as a self-sustaining source of income, providing stability and ensuring we can continue to meet the administrative and personal needs of the children under our care.
