“My name is Khanyisa, being a part of KTD196 children’s program - scout has had a huge impact on my life because it changed the way I think. The way I look at people and the way I look at myself.
Being a Scout is not about what you do when you are with other Scouts but it becomes part of your lifestyle. It’s about being honest with yourself and others, it’s about being a good person when people are looking and when they are not. It’s not about just being a good person at church or scouts or when people are watching you.
Joining Scouts is a decision that one makes because you want to change for the good. I have changed in different ways: firstly, I gained confidence. Secondly, I learnt how to interact with different people and thirdly I discovered my abilities, I didn’t realize I was good at teaching other people, at training and working with adults and children.
Join KTD196 and your life will change forever.“
