Avuxeni (Avusheni) and many Greetings from Keep The Dream196!!
I am very grateful and happy to share some GREAT NEWS!!
Keep The Dream196 South Africa is Vetted, Superstar, Effective & Top Ranked By GlobalGiving in 2020 !! What this means is that you can know with confidence that as an organization, we do what we say we are doing, we comply with all national and international laws in relation to governance, financial administration and staff management. We also work with a variety of other organizations such as the US Embassy, National Development Agency and Kindernothilfe (German Donor) and so our protection policies for children are regularly examined and adjusted as international and national laws change concerning child protection.
Thank you, KTD196 Community of Supporters and GlobalGiving for your Valuable Support & Guidance over the years. We remain immensely grateful for the amazingly support and we are thankful to you from the core of our hearts. Together we are saving lives and building futures! You have made all possible! We couldn't accomplish any of this without your support.
KTD196 has been working on sensitive issues such as Gender Based Violence, women empowerment, prevention of violence against women and children and Sustainable Development Goals such as Environment conservation, literacy promotion and poverty alleviation. Your valuable support for these activities assures that together we are saving lives!
Last weekend we held a Color Fun Run and advocacy event where 350parents and children ran through the streets of Burgersdorp demanding an end to Gender Based Violence (GBV). Everyone learnt about what is GBV and how it is impacting society and what can be done. For example: every 8hours a woman is killed by her intimate partner and recently there has been a young medical intern and a social worker at our local University murdered by their boy friends. We need to change as a society and condemn this action. Advocacy is one of the activities we do through your support. Please go to our YouTube Chanel and view our video of the day.
Nkomo Sweneni Ngopfu (thank you so very much!)
