Before I joined GlobalGiving I had not heard of Giving Tuesday! I know shocking right. I'm not sure when this movement started but I do know that GG has been providing opportunities to its partners since 2012 to assist its partners to meet the ever-increasing need we are experiencing.
GlobalGiving is hosting a $1 million giveaway to our community on November 30, 2021!
GlobalGiving’s 2021 #GivingTuesday campaign will last 24 hours, from 00:00:00 EST to 23:59:59 EST on November 30, 2021.
If you donate during this particular day and these times, KTD196 will benefit from a proportion of the $1million giveaway on top of your already generous donation.
As you know the last 2years particularly has been new territory for many NGO's around the world. We have had to deal with a whole new landscape, new laws, new conditions of meeting and going about our day-to-day activities. I won't lie, it's been tough. Needs have escalated, costs have escalated, income has reduced. It's a fact of life for many organizations, many individuals, and many families have struggled and people are very unsure about the future.
HOWEVER, here is your chance to not just give but enable us to access even more funding on the day but also throughout the month of December. Any amount will assist us, amounts up to a ceiling of $2,500USD will be eligible, amounts donated over this will be capped at that amount to allow other organizations a chance at gaining a share.
The money raised will literally save lives, for 18yrs WE have seen the impact of this program on the lives of the kids WE have served. For 18yrs WE have produced quality citizens and leaders in their fields of endeavor. For 18yrs WE have been there for the poorest of the poor and the most vulnerable children in the communities WE serve. For the last 2yrs together WE have stopped people dying of hunger, stopped stunting in children, given hope, and enable children to realize their dreams. This has only been possible because of your support!
NOW we need your help.
As a community, I need to be honest and tell you we are $50,000USD short of our fundraising target for this year, this will have a dire impact on our programs next year. I have never been so transparent regarding our financial issues in this community before, we have never been in this position before. I am asking for your support. Hopefully, I will never have to ask like this again.
I am very grateful for your support in the past and this does not diminish your past giving at all.
