By Louise and the KTD196 Dream Team | Jack of all trades, master of none!
As we are on the cusp of a New Year, I want to take this time to remember those who didn't make it into 2022.
Throughout the course of the last two years, like many of you, I am sure, I have lost family and friends. I don't want to be morbid but I do want to pause and reflect on the preciousness of life, that life is not guaranteed, and that we can not afford to take life for granted. We need to be the best versions of ourselves for the sake of others.
Kindness can cover over a multitude of hurts and grief, we have the power to change other people's negative experiences of life. Your kindness to our kids is phenomenal. I just want you to know how grateful I am for your support and ongoing commitment.
An Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Fraser, once said, "Life wasn't meant to be easy". As I think about this quote I think Life especially when it isn't easy is meant to bring out the best in us! It is an opportunity for us to be kind and considerate, to help one another, to encourage and support each other. It is an opportunity to showcase our humanity despite the circumstances we find ourselves in.
And YOU have done just that!
Thank you!
Thank you for your support and care, thank you for helping us help so many children with the promise of more to come.
Thank you for having our backs.
Thank you for giving, without you during these last two years we would not have achieved many milestones with the children.
Next year will be exciting, we have new goals and dreams to lend ourselves to, and as our supporters, you are a part of all these plans.
Until 2022, God bless you and your families.
Stay well
Louise and the amazing Dream Team
