I just couldn’t wait until next weeks report! I just wanted to share the joy of the children participating in the Colour Run for 2024! We had over 350 kids participate, we know that because the we prepared 350 colour pots, and we now some kids missed out on throwing the colour paint into the air.
We initially did some training on Children’s Rights and Child Participation and then it was time to let the paint fly! After that! The kids ran through Nsolane village chanting about Children’s Rights and stopping to talk to adults along the route about the importance of Child Participation and hearing what their kids were saying to them in the family.
I have included 2 short video’s, one is from a drone and there is no sound, the second one has sound and features one of our partners from Steelport narrating the video. I really hope you enjoy!
