One of the highlights for the kids and kTD196 is the Color Run!!! We all love it!
On the day of the Color Run the kids are up early and at the venue very early, as the excitement grows. The kids arrive and we have to do registers, so every child has to write their name, age and where they are from, unless they are too young. The excitement grows! While the kids were all waiting for everyone to register so we played traditional games, the excitement continued to grow!
We had out the paint, they got to choose their colors, and the excitement was almost overwhelming!
We try and gather the kids into a group………………now they are getting past the point of excitement.
We try to gather the younger ones in front and the older ones at the back, but it doesn’t always work!
Then, it’s the count down! You can see the anticipation and exhilaration on their faces, it is so beautiful to watch.
Then GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO is yelled! And a barrage of color is thrown into the air. The children were delighted, pleasure and enjoyment was evident on all of their faces. They are so animated, happiness doesn’t describe the impact of something so simple.
