This project focuses on strengthening the community component through two key actions: 1-Home visits for people who, due to health conditions, distance, economic circumstances, or migratory status, cannot easily travel to the center. 2-Transportation support to ensure that users can timely access medical care, undergo examinations, receive their antiretroviral medications, and participate in clinical and psychosocial follow-up processes.
Recent changes in international humanitarian aid have caused many programs that once provided essential services-like transportation and home visits-to close or reduce their support. This puts the most vulnerable people at risk of missing medical care and follow-up services. Your donation ensures that people living with HIV, especially those facing health, economic, or migratory challenges, continue to receive the care, support, and attention they need.
Home visits and transportation, though basic, are essential to ensure uninterrupted treatment, maintain clinical follow-up, and prevent health complications. Without this support, many people would face exclusion due to economic, geographic, or social barriers.
This focused support addresses a critical gap, ensuring that at least 150 people can continue to receive comprehensive, dignified care, reflecting CEPROSH's commitment to health, equity, and community well-being.
