Thank you. Because of your support, we’ve been able to create small but vital pockets of normalcy for orphaned children here in Gaza. In a place where so much has been shattered, these spaces are about more than just survival. They are places where children can finally take a breath—where they can eat a healthy meal, catch up on their lessons, and remember how to play.

Our day centers have become something special. With your help, we provide a consistent daily meal, which for many children is their most nutritious. After eating together, they move into learning sessions. We focus on core subjects like math and Arabic to keep their education on track, but we also weave in drawing, and group games. This blend is intentional; the routine of learning builds stability, while the creative and playful activities give them a safe outlet to express feelings that are too big for words.

You can see the difference in the photos we’ve attached. In one, children are gathered around shared bowls of food, talking and eating together. In another, a group is deeply focused on a painting activity, their hands covered in bright colors. These moments of quiet concentration and simple joy are the first steps in healing from immense trauma.
