The humanitarian situation in Syria remains fragile as the country enters a new phase of recovery and rebuilding after years of conflict and instability. Prolonged displacement, damaged infrastructure, and economic hardship continue to affect millions of families struggling to rebuild their lives and regain access to basic services. Although many communities are hopeful for a more stable future, vulnerable households still face significant challenges related to food security, shelter, clothing, and access to safe living conditions. Children and families also continue to experience the psychological impact of years of uncertainty and displacement.
Through the Syria Emergency Response project, YEÇED continues to support vulnerable communities during this critical transition period. With the support of donors, emergency assistance such as bread distribution, food packages, winter clothing, and blankets helps families meet their immediate needs while adapting to changing conditions on the ground. These contributions remain essential for protecting the dignity and well-being of displaced and low-income families as communities work toward recovery and rebuilding.
In addition to humanitarian relief, the project places strong emphasis on psychosocial support activities for children. As Syria moves into a reconstruction phase, supporting children’s emotional well-being and social resilience is vital for helping communities recover in a sustainable way. Through safe and supportive activities, children are encouraged to express themselves, regain a sense of normalcy, and strengthen their ability to cope with the long-term effects of conflict and uncertainty.
YEÇED remains committed to standing alongside vulnerable communities across Syria by continuing to provide humanitarian assistance and community-based support throughout the recovery and rebuilding process.
