Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is very grateful to you for your kind support to the project Syrian Refugees Relief Fund

The Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) has been looking after the Syrian refugees living in different cities of Turkiye Since 2016. Welfare Teams of CHCS have visited the relief camps of Syrian Refugees in Urfa, Killis, Idlib, Allepo and distributed relief, goods and cash among the Syrian Refugees living there. CHCS dispatched number of containers of relief goods, food items, cloths, gifts for children during the year 2018 and 2019. More recently a team of CHCS visited Konya during the month of January 2023 and distributed food packets, cash and gifts among 250 families. A large consignment of coal was also distributed among the refugees in order to burn the same as fuel or to avoid cold. CHCS intends will continue its welfare activities for the Syrian Refugees living in Turkiye in future also. Renowned Kidney Transplant Surgeon, Dr. Saeed Akhtar also joined CHCS team in Turkiye to play his part in the relief efforts for the earthquake victims. CHCS team arrived Istanbul on Feb. 22 2023 and arranged for a 60 feet Container, consisting of 1000 Boxes, for the earthquake affectees which contained dry ration, winter relief packages, and gift bags for children.

CHCS visited multiple sites in the diaster-hit areas to assess future needs and plan further relief activities. The team also visited the temporary shelter warm setup for affectees by AFAD and distributed ration boxes, shawls, warm clothings and gift bags. A large amount of cash was also distributed among the earthquake affectees. CHCS team was there to share feelings of sorrow and pain of those who lost their loved ones and were going through this tough phase of being homeless. Customs Health Care Society will continue to work for the relief and rehabilitation of brethren in Turkiye in future Inshallah. The donors across the globe are requested to support Syrian Refugees Relief Fund Appeal and donate generously to the cause.
