Syrian Refugees Relief Activities

Dear Esteemed Donors,

Season’s Greetings!

The Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) sincerely thanks you for your unwavering support of the Syrian Refugees Relief Fund. Your generous contributions have been a cornerstone of our ongoing mission to provide critical assistance to those in desperate need.

Dedicated Support Since 2016

Since 2016, CHCS has been steadfast in its commitment to aiding Syrian refugees residing in various cities across Turkiye. Our dedicated welfare teams have worked tirelessly on the ground, visiting relief camps in Urfa, Kilis, Idlib, and Aleppo. Through these visits, we have distributed essential relief items such as food, clothing, and financial aid, bringing hope and comfort to those who have endured immense challenges and losses.

Enhanced Relief Efforts in 2018 and 2019

In 2018 and 2019, CHCS significantly expanded its relief initiatives by dispatching multiple containers packed with essential supplies. These shipments included food items, clothing, and gifts for children, addressing the refugees’ immediate needs and offering moments of joy to children who have faced unimaginable hardships.

Recent Achievements in 2024

In January 2024, a dedicated CHCS team visited Konya to continue our vital mission. During this visit, we provided food packets, financial assistance, and gifts to 300 families. To help refugees endure the harsh winter conditions, we also distributed a substantial quantity of coal for heating purposes, alleviating some of the burdens caused by the severe cold. This initiative was a critical step in ensuring their comfort and safety during challenging times.

Your generosity and compassion make these efforts possible. Together, we can continue to bring relief and hope to Syrian refugees, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.

Warm regards,
Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah
