Tahanan Sta. Luisa Updates for January

We sincerely thank you in your help to continue our plight and advocacy for these lovely young girls under our care.

Just this recently, Tahanan Sta. Luisa celebrated the 18th birthday of one of our girl. Everyone prepared for the celebration - decors, food, and messages for her. The celebrant / debutant was prepared for a session of make-up and dress up to celebrate her blossoming from a little girl to a lady. Everyone had a great time celebrating - and enjoyed all the food provided by the houseparents, and some of the TSL donors.

Tahanan Sta. Luisa would also like to introduce our new Center Director, Ms. Anna Aban. She started reporting to TSL just this month, and she will be in charge of all operations and programs of Tahanan Sta. Luisa.

TSL still continues to seeks financial assistance from diferent local and foreign organizations. One organization, the Australia and New Zealand Association, visited the center last January 18 to meet the girls; and to give donations of groceries and a pre-owned keyboard. Now, TSL is looking for a volunteer who can teach some girls on how to play the instrument.

With a positive attitude and a hopeful heart, the staff and the girls of Tahanan Sta. Luisa continues to pray for its continuous operation; and for a year full of more new friends, supporters and volunteers.
