Tahanan Sta. Luisa Updates for July 2014

By Joan dela Cruz Pachingel | Resource Mobilization Officer

July was a GREAT month for Tahanan! The center had different activities and visitors are still coming in. TSL still has Ms. Diana Heng of Australia to volunteer as a Marketing Officer to help Tahanan Sta. Luisa in selling their products. One of her project was to pitch in TSL's products to a Filipino crafts store so they could sell it to all of their branches - and as of this moment, it is still being negotiated. We are all praying for a positive outcome for this.

This month, TSL also had a new opportunity - Tahanan Sta. Luisa was chosen by a boradsheet newspaper The Philippine Star to be a part of their #28StoriesOfGiving project which showcases different stories of loss, triumph and selflessness of people and/or organizations.

Included in this project is an aid to help all the chosen 28 by donating Php5.00 to every person who mentions Tahanan Sta. Luisa and uses the hashtag #28StoriesofGiving in their Twitter or Facebook accounts.

This project is currently having an exhibit in one of the biggest malls in Manila. This gives opportunity for the center to be more known by Flipinos who are not aware of the organization yet.

July starts the rainy season here. We hope all our friends are safe! Thank you for your continuous support to Tahanan Sta. Luisa.
