For this month, Tahanan Sta. Luisa has been blessed with good news, not to mention the continuous support of different volunteers, individual donors and partnerships for the center.
The girls of Tahanan Sta. Luisa were given a free unit of a videoke microphone by Grand Videoke. The staff of Grand Videoke went to the center this month for the official turnover, conducted with games and activities to which the girls really enjoyed.
The center also had a recent partnership with Filipino Outreach International, an organization which sends "balikbayan boxes" from their area to the groups they support. This month, they helped Tahanan Sta. Luisa by providing the girls with girls teens clothing.
Lastly, during the end of the month, Tahanan Sta. Luisa got a great news of a grant approval by Korea Women's Fund - the organization will assist the center's Educational Program for this year until 2015. This great news has given the staff more motivation to strive further in taking good care of these young, lovely and hopeful girls.
