Hi Dear Donors,
We want to inform you on our clean energy project. It is great to let you see that we recently installed our first solar kit at the home of Violeth, a student we provide schoolsuppies for. The results were not as good as we hoped for and the reason was that Violeth could not study at home in the evening, because her home has no electricity.
We bought and installed the solar kit. It has a 20W solar panel, connected to a battery. It supplies energy for 3 connected led lights, a radio and 2 USB charging points. In this house also lives a grandmother and other siblings who will benefit from the light in the evening, when Violeth can make her homework.
Violeth and her family are very thankful for the gift of light, that will support a family of 7 in 3 generations in that home.
We will monitor this solar kit and when we receive more donations, we can choose to give more homes a solar kit!
