Our Literacy Master Map Program is a transitional experience in order to remedy academic deficiencies of brilliant kids from non-English speaking homes who lack sufficient English language stimulation at home to show their best in an American English language classroom. Our students made a Thanksgiving holiday wreath decorated with their words of gratitude. Claire Green, their teacher, helped them write what they were grateful for. How gratifying that one of the first enthusiastic words was, "SCHOOL." One of the student's Dads hung the wreath on our PenndCo door right at pick-up time so that the portal to our Penndco suite would be welcoming to parents and give them an authentic American moment to share with their child. Parents bring their children for lessons to make sure that they will have the experience of being in an all English learning environment. But, our teacher also does her best to informally interact with parents in order to assure them that their youngsters are succeeding in achieving both the academic and behavioral expectations of our class. Visit our Facebook page, like us, follow us, and look at how earnest our young learners are. Truly they are the blessings of the season. Thank you, dear donors and supporters, for helping make their stars shine brightly. May you and your dearest ones enjoy all the wonders of the season and a happy and healthy New Year.
