10th Anniversary of Literacy Master Map program

By Tetyana Varenychenko | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We would like to share with you how we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of our Literacy Master Map program, and how our students demonstrated their interest to participate in this event. Over the past three months, our reading class has provided students with opportunities to explore a variety of literary genres. From imaginative stories to informative texts, they have expanded their literary horizons, discovering the diverse worlds that literature has to offer. Anna Maria and Mya have assisted in reading books to the younger students, while Marharyta has initiated reading short stories during read-aloud.

We celebrated the 10th anniversary of our Literacy Master Map program one month ago, and students demonstrated their efforts in communication. The occasion brought together students, parents, directors, community helpers, and educators to mark a decade of academic excellence and growth. Students expressed their love for reading through poems and projects. Each child had the opportunity to share their favorite book with peers, parents, and guests. Children also indulged in delicious treats.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our sponsors for their invaluable support of our Literacy Master Map Program. We remain dedicated to continuing the journey of reading, learning, and enriching the minds of our students.

We appreciate PENNDCO Parents’ Committee for support and encouragement our young readers. Our special thank you is following to parents, volunteers, and all community supporters who organized a wonderful event for Penndco children.

Sincerely,

Tetyana Varenychenko
