Dear our Donors!
We would like to share with you that Peendco children celebrate "Read Aloud Month" with Read Aloud 15 Minutes by reading a book daily. We encourage our students and families to read aloud in the classroom and at home. Our students use Penndco Library and share the books with others to help promote reading aloud every day.
Penndco students enjoy reading together actvities by using Social Skills Library, Dr. Seuss station, and Read Aloud Reading Tracker. We recommend our parents to help children to select the best books for reading by using the following resources: Read Aloud - Book Selections, local Library, and Penndco Library.
We inform our parents weekly regarding student's progress in reading skills by focusing on child's ability to listen a story. Reading is fun. However, reading requests to be a good Listener! Listen to reading is our goal.
We ask our students: Who are the Good Readers? We got the following answers:
Good Reader loves the book.
Good Reader enjoys story.
Good Reader predicts what will happen next.
Good Reader likes to go to the Library.
Good Reader organizes home library.
Good Reader is a good student.
Good Reader asks parents to buy a new book for the birthday or Christmas Time.
Good Reader is a smart student.
Good Reader has a purpose for reading.
Good Reader loves challenge.
Good Reader has a great imagination.
In conclusion, we would like to say that Penndco students are the best Readers who enjoy March as the Month of Reading.
