Teach 36 children with limited English to read

We would like to say you again and again our special Thank You for your support and generosity. We would like to share with you the following information.

Pennsylvania Diversity Children's Organization (PENNDCO) (www.peendco.org) located in Lower Moreland, PA is a501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides valuable reading programs and services to linguistically challenged children as well as children with special needs. Our licensed specialists work cooperatively with the families of these children, delivering support, help, and valuable programs.

During summer 2017 our children enjoy all reading programs, and we know that reading books with our children is a great way to connect with them and introduce them to new words and ideas. But what our student learns doesn't come only from hearing we read. In fact, having a conversation with our students about the book is just as important.

Turn book reading into a conversation is fun. It is a great way to see how our students can ask a question and answer on a question, and how they comment and have a fun by developing their listening skills, language skills, social-emotional skills, and self-help skills. We encourage our students and their families to read a book daily at home too. Reading a book must be a daily activity as a fun activity.

Thank you all donors who support us to help our children and their families to get a success during learning time, and we would like to say a lot of thanks to Holy Family University Library that presented us the Best Books Collection for enjoying a reading club.
