This year TFT corporated with 8 new schools, which are located in eastern and southern Taiwan. Up to now, TFT has sent 212 TFT fellows to 68 schools to support more than 5000 kids.
According to our research, the schools renew the contract rate high to 89 %, and the satisfaction is high to 85%. In these schools, 64% of the students have the good cognitive ability, 74% have high learning motivation, and 74% agree that TFT fellows create a conducive learning environment.
At the same time, 96% of TFT fellows achieve the standard of teacher’s ability, and 80% are satisfied with the cultivation of a professional development system. By 2021, we have graduated 118 alumni who continue to identify and work on various pieces of the puzzle of educational inequity after their Fellowship.
TFT envisions that “one day, all children in Taiwan, regardless of their background, can attain an excellent education and the opportunities of self-development.”
