Dear Friends,
This year has become the decade for the founding of Teach For Taiwan(TFT), and we would like to show our gratitude toward your support and generosity, to accompany us in the journey of achieving our mission. “One day, all children in Taiwan, regardless of their background, can attain an excellent education and the opportunities of self-development”, this is what we always believe in, from the very beginning to this moment.
Looking back to the past months, we have finished the recruitment and selection of 10th cohort TFT fellows. In the next three months, TFT will train these new-coming teaching fellows and send them to highly disadvantaged areas to mitigate education inequality. Also, we are glad to have the 8th cohort fellows becoming our alumni; we see them spread their influence over different fields and places, and keep trying to make changes after the short journey comes to an end.
We are truly honored and grateful to have you alongside us for a decade, yet education is a lifetime commitment that requires effort for more than a decade. In the ten years, we have seen smiles and happiness on more than 6,000 children’s faces, but we are still eager to make a bigger change in the next decades. We sincerely invite you to keep joining in the journey of mitigating the educational inequities with us, in order to let the smile blossoms on more children’s faces and to make this world a better place for them to chase the fulfillment of themselves.
