Dear Friend,
Good Evening and greetings to you from the Hope House. We have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to implement 'Project YUVA' in the month of May but we were hampered by shortage of funds. We kept on working through different sources.
All of a sudden we received a message that a doctor's music band (of Christian Medical College, Vellore) called "Septic Shock" want to host a music concert to benefit "Project YUVA". This was such a pleasant surprise that we couldn't believe. They had asked us for a budget and we gave them a budget for 10 lakhs of rupees (approximately $14,285/- at Rs. 70/- conversion rate).
Music concert was held on November 29th and it was something more than we could ask for. There were gala events took place before the concert and lots of food was sold and many other activities were held to make this concert a grand success. We want to express our heartfelt grattitide to all the members of Septic Shock for supporting this cause.
Regards
Ruby
P.S. We would appreciate if you consider supporting the needs of adolescents this holiday sesaon through Project YUVA.
