Dear Donors,
In Nigeria, many sex workers live without regular access to healthcare. Fear of discrimination and lack of confidentiality often keep them away from hospitals and clinics. This leaves them vulnerable to untreated infections, reproductive health challenges, and mental stress. Studies continue to show that sex workers are among the least served groups in health planning, and many end up relying on unsafe self-treatment or ignoring their health problems altogether.
Our plan is to create a secure and anonymous chat platform where sex workers can connect directly with qualified doctors. It will allow sex workers to chat anonymously with doctors about their health concerns. The system will be accessible on mobile phones, providing consultations, health information, and referrals when necessary. It will also be available in local languages to make communication easier. By removing stigma and travel barriers, this service will help sex workers receive safe, confidential, and timely medical guidance.
Although no funds have been received yet, we are ready to start once donations come in. Every contribution will go directly into developing the platform, paying medical professionals, and maintaining secure communication channels.
We thank you once again for considering this project, as it will open a safe door to healthcare for people who are too often shut out.
Warm regards,
Kadiri Ugbede-Ojo Dominic
