Even during a pandemic, The Garage School is slowly but surely making progress on its expansion. Thanks to you, first stones have been laid and concrete steps taken. A stone laying ceremony took place with key stakeholders, showcasing the important strides in making this new building and how it can help educate more children of Neelum Colony.
Neelum Colony, a desolate, dismal community where the street children of servants live is adjacent to the posh areas of Clifton where the richest families of Karachi live and many of the parents of these children work.
Serving and educating street children in need is not a luxury, but a necessity. It is also a responsibility that The Garage School takes very seriously.
