Happy Summer to our Global Giving community!
Did you know we now have over 350 stories in our Care Gallery? I have attached an Impact Report so you can read about some of the milestones we have reached over the past few years growing this community with all of you. Since 2013, we have organized more than 100 community screenings of The Genius of Marian in the US and around the world. And we are excited to announce The Genius of Marian will soon be available streaming on Kanopy at over 4,000 public libraries and campuses worldwide.
You can be a aprt of helping us grow this community. We invite you to share the film with your community, please contact us at info@geniusofmarian.com. We love working with event hosts to plan screenings from intimate livingroom gatherings to working with partners to pack a local theater. We have a facilitator's Guide available, which includes a discussion guide, press kit, screening tool kit and promotional materials.
“The Genius of Marian is a emotionally impactful portrait of the impact that dementia has not only on the person with Alzheimer’s disease but also their family and friends. This film is an amazing opportunity to educate the public and also our colleagues in general medicine and specialty mental health about the all too often unseen effects of dementia on caregivers and the importance of psychosocial support.”

Thank you All again for your generosity, love and kindness. Due to your ongoing support we are able to continue to serve caregivers through The Genius of Caring site. Individuals who have created profiles and shared their stories have told us how much they appreciate the space to share stories of their loved one with others and feel a sense of community and less isolation. We are grateful our work has provided a space for caregivers and their loved ones to share their experiences.
“Your emphasis on the caregiver resonates with me as I believe we can increase awareness by focusing on the whole family and not just the person with the disease.”
Brian Norton, family caregiver
