The inspirational story of the mountain man with his self-sacrifice sadly did not bring much help to his village which is a desperately poor mahadalit village.

Please help us really change the lives of the children and people in this village through education.
We are running a very simple school at the village at present which is better than nothing but we could achieve so much more if we had the resources to do it. As one villager said,
“The school could make all the difference here, education means escape from poverty, it means the chance of a new better life,
