Free Boarding School Bulgaria for children at risk

In essence, it has been quite a journey the past few months!

We managed to secure a big donation from an american church again, and this has meant that we survived the heavy winter season! We managed to complete a new roof on the dormitory just ont ime before everything was covered in snow for a month!

Here is a list of all recent updates in our project in Russalya:

• We now have 14 fully renewed bathrooms in the dormitory
• Brand new roof and no leakage in the dormitory
• Two new staff members from Belgium and New Zealand, adding to the kids’ pool of cultural and educational opportunities for development
• Children signed up for Tae Kwon Do classes in town
• An established baseline in conversations with Parliamentarians about government inclusion and support, while preserving our private status
• Ongoing discussions about second floor construction for additional dormitory rooms, leading on to welcoming more children in Rusalya
• Working on securing new awnings above entry points in both school and dormitory for safety during bad weather conditions
• Working on securing a new ll-purpose outdoors sports court for football, basketball, tennis and other physical activities through a donation campaign.
• Our new documentary film School for Hope is doig fantastic and is beeing watched in the whole country!
