Even though social media has changed how we read and share news, the media still has an important role: to give people courage and hope.
Since 2023, The Reporter for Kids has run a special column called “When I Was 14,” where people from different fields share memories of their teenage years. At the end of May,The Reporter for Kids published a book titled When I Was 14.
As a nonprofit media outlet for children and teens, The Reporter for Kids hopes this book sends a meaningful message. Let the 15 stories in the book be your companions as you go through your own life journey.
Thank you for Empowering The Reporter for Kids. Your commitment strengthens The Reporter for kids, enabling us to continue producing meaningful journalism that drives social change. We invite you to share The Reporter for kids with more people, to support independent journalism and work together for a more open future.
