The School of our Dreams

In 2020 we launched a campaign to support the education of 170 children in times of the COVID-19 emergency. Thanks to your help, we were able to purchase 30 tablets and buy internet connection for 12 families during a year. Our students were able to attend their lessons virtually and have a successful school year despite the circumstances. Besides the support with technology, our school leadered a campaign to benefit 7.400 families in our State with groceries during three months. 

This year we are back to the new normal. A new normal with many challenges but always grateful that we can have our children back in the classrooms. Our dream and pressing need as well is to GROW OUR SCHOOL in order to supply the high demand of children's education in our community and reach out to more families in need. Our current building has an installed capacity for 200 students and that is IT. Our first plan was to build a second floor but it is NOT enough. We need more space to grow and we are ready to take a challenging step that will expand our impact in unlimited ways: an ecoschool in an area of 6 acres (24.000 mts2) with a capacity to enrol A THOUSAND STUDENTS!! 

We are so excited about the idea and the power of expanding our school but we cannot do this alone. The project’s estimated budget is ONE MILLION DOLLARS and we will start by raising 100.000 through GlobalGiving. We know it’s a big number but it is possible! We will raise the rest of the money through local fundraising campaigns and prize money in a period of 3 years.
