Dear friends and supporters,
It's a new school year and we are so excited to welcome 250 students to Colegio La Fontaine. We came back to school in the beginning of February and will finish in late November. It is the first time we grow such a big number of student enrollment, which makes us think we are all doing a good job and more and more families want to join our community of learners.
As we told you in our last report, we have a big challenge this year. It is to find a new place to run the school because our educational project is much bigger than the physical place where we are located. It is frustrating to let go of hundreds of students every year because we don't have room for them all. However, with your help and new partnerships we see our dream school come true sooner than we expected!
In the meantime we have lots of plans for a fun and transformational school year. We have already chosen our student government, planned our projects for the first term, set up a plan to support children and families at risk, and you can check our yearly calendar here to see what this school year looks like!
Stay tunned to more news and the update of our new campaign.
Thanks again to our recurring donors who make possible a steady budget to run our bilingual program at the school and thanks to our one-time supporters who believed in us and share about this project with friends and family.
We wish you all a blessed 2023!
All the best,
Teacher Lily
