Dear donors,
We are changing the name of this project (Scholarships for kids with rare diseases) to provide a more accurate title and explanation towards its purpose which is providing access to THERAPIES for kids with rare diseases.
At the Celia and Pepe School in Madrid, Spain, assist 40 kids all with language and speech disorders mainly originated by rare diseases. For the last five years, we have successfully implemented an innovative methodology that blends therapies and curricula content, proving that kids learn concepts more effectively.
With your support, you provide these kids with weekly Cognitive Stimulation Sessions, to focus on their cognitive processes affecting language like maintained attention, working memory, executive functions and logic reasoning among others. This intervention is done by a psychologist, an educational psychologist, and a neuropsychologist.
And thank you for helping us to provide this crucial support to these kids.
Would you still help us?
Eugenia
