Hilonga won London-based Pitch@Palace competition

It was another big day for Tanzania when Hilonga, the partner of GlobalGiving in Tanzania, won the third prize within 2015. The first one was Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation, 1st June 2015 = GBP 25,000
The second one is the the Presidential Award: National Health Innovation Award; 13th Oct. 2015
The third one is the current one, 1st Dec 2015, as explained below; .

It was entrepreneurs pitching competition. This program is the initiative of the Duke of York - Prince Andrew, The former president of Nigeria - Obasanjo, and The Richest Man in Africa - Aliko Dangote. There were 300 applicants who were screened down to 5. The last five were invited to London for 3 min presentation (Pitch@Palace Africa) and Hilonga became the overall winner. When given an opportunity to give thanks, Hilonga refered to Bible Psalms 113:7, 8 (It can be personalized this way, "GOD has fulfilled his promise to raise Hilonga from the pit (poverty) and make him sit with the PRINCE!

...................and Hilonga repeated his vision of becoming a Millionaire of IMPACTING Millions of lives!

One water station will give a job opportunity to one local entrepreneur who will be serving up to 100 people in his/her community with safe clean water, thus reducing waterborne diseases, dental and bone fluorosis, and death of children under five.

We will actively update you on the progress of our project and the IMPACT we are making to save peoples' lives in our community and at the same time creating job opportunity to local entrepreneurs.
